Pre-Condition Surveys:Prior to work commencing Pre-Condition Surveys are carried out to create a fixed record of the condition of adjacent structures and infrastructure. These are required as references should a dispute arise regarding alledged damage to the adjacent structures and infrastructure. These are very often required where works such as deep excavations, demolition, rock breaking, underpinning etc are proposed close to other structures. Pre-Condition Surveys may also be required where it is proposed to take down a section of a wall or other structure for remedial works, and it is intended to rebuild the wall or other structure to its original state.Progress Surveys:While construction works are in progress photographic surveys are taken to record the progress of the work and also to record the manner in which the work is being carried out.Post Condition Surveys:These are surveys of the completed construction works to record the condition of the end product should any dispute later arise regarding the manner in which the works were completed.
